MEANWHILE(a poem on waiting)

The rain is pouring
The sky is dark
There’ll be no hills to climb today
There’ll be no seas to cross
But I’ll sip my coffee
and I will be cozy
and enjoy the cool wind
blowing by
meanwhile.
The land is plowed
The seeds are planted
Yet harvest time has not arrived
But I’ll watch the sunset
and my fields of gold
and I’ll take
a sweet little nap
meanwhile.
Yea for those who wait
for their tomorrows
let none then waste
of their todays
For all is well
and all is fine
for those who pray
and smile
meanwhile.
“Meanwhile” is a poem on waiting, one of the hardest things we ever do. No one likes waiting, and rarely do I here of people saying poems while waiting! :-) Yet there are times when there is really nothing we could do but wait, and while doing so, may we never think that our time is wasted, and that nature is not doing anything to fulfill our deepest desires.

I will live this day as if it is my last. And what shall I do with this last precious day which remains in my keeping? I will waste not a moment mourning yesterday's misfortunes, defeats or heartaches, for why should I throw good after bad?
I have but one life and life is naught but a measurement of time. When I waste one I destroy the other. If I waste today I destroy the last page of my life. Therefore, each hour of this day will I cherish for it can never return.

No one likes waiting....
I have been waiting for a guy to get off his butt for me....and the unknown is far more frustrating than the waiting....
when i don't know know how he feels...if what he feels is for real...or if his words of "i love you" are fake because there is NO action of Love that i can see...
but sometimes waiting is a good thing....give u time to observe and see how things play out...no matter if its love, or job, or normal life
