Being dragged by a fish

Alright guys and gals this story takes place near the District of Columbia in the pacific ocean. Mt father in law, cousin, uncle, three of my brothers went to fish with this small boat during our week vacation well we were catching some pretty good fish was having plenty of success. So the next day we decided to rent several boats so we can spread out and see how many we can catch individually and my uncle won the beat by catching 7 more fish than all of us i cam in 4th not too bad caught 4 myself. Anyway we got addicted to renting the boats and making bets with each other and seeing who will win and of course cooking them was delicious too lol. So anyway i remember the boat rental place that rented the boats had no more boats available so we decided to rent some from a local a small lounge some boats well with my luck i got stuck with a freaking tug boat lol look like a lifesaver lol that's how small it was. I am pretty sure some people have seen it where its a small looking Raff made out of rubber or something that can only fit one person. If you guys need me to describe it in more details feel free to ask lol. Anyway i remember i was fishing and i was catching some fishes not a lot then i wasn't catching anything i mean i was extremely surprise i wasn't even getting a thug from the fishes. All of a sudden i some huge fish takes my bait literally drags me and my Raff boat. LOL my brothers said it look like in the cartoons where shark literally carries the fisher man well it pulled me and my boat to a small distance then the line snapped. I don't have any clue what type of fish was it but i do know it was large or huge to be able to pull a large man with several fishing equipment lol. After that day my father in law, uncle, my brothers, and i went to see if we can catch whatever that things was we spend the rest of our vacation trying to catch it we even got up early in the morning and stayed late late at night we even stayed 24 hours lol one time trying to see if we can get it and nope we didn't even came close to catching it or seeing what it was. To this day we do not know what it was and i am still amazed to know what it was and still think about it wondering to see if i can just go back and see if i can catch that fish.
